Rather than scaling into a generalist consultancy, Mokhantso BioSolutions stays close to the bench: every service on offer is one the founder has direct, PhD-level experience delivering, from protein biochemistry and structural drug design to diagnostic assay development and disease surveillance planning.

Founder & Scientific DirectorDr. Tshele Mokhantso is a PhD-trained molecular biologist and biochemist whose research spans structural biology, computational biology, diagnostics and biotechnology innovation — including HIV-1 protease drug resistance, molecular dynamics simulation, venomics and immunogen design. That research background is the foundation Mokhantso BioSolutions is built on: every consulting service reflects work the founder has done first-hand, not a service line assembled from general theory.
Alongside the research, Dr. Mokhantso has built a parallel track in scientific communication and capacity building — writing a monthly public-health immunology column, facilitating postgraduate computational biology workshops, and supervising Honours and MSc research. Mokhantso BioSolutions extends that same instinct outward: taking specialised science and making it usable by the people and organisations who need it most.
